The vibrant energy of North Valley College Foundation, Inc. reached its peak during the much-awaited ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐ & ๐ด๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฑ๐๐๐ ๐๐, culminating the two-day long Freshmen Day celebration with a spectacular display of talent, creativity, and confidence. The event served not only as a pageant but as a platform to spotlight the exceptional abilities of NVCโs newest students, reinforcing the schoolโs commitment to ๐บ๐ซ๐ฎ ๐: ๐ธ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ by promoting holistic student development. Loud cheers and proud smiles filled the Activity Hub as candidates confidently walked the stage, igniting the spirit of unity and youthful excellence.
A major highlight of the competition was the Talent Showdown, where contestants showcased impressive skills through ethnic dances, instrumental performances, interpretative dances, soulful singing, and moving drama pieces. These performances did more than entertainโthey celebrated cultural heritage and inclusivity, advancing ๐บ๐ซ๐ฎ ๐: ๐ฎ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐บ๐ซ๐ฎ ๐๐: ๐น๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ by giving all students, regardless of background or identity, the opportunity to shine. The most anticipated segment, however, was the Creative Fashion Attire, where candidates confidently strutted in stunning outfits made entirely of recycled materials. Named as First Runners-Up were Nerjhon M. Almencion (College of Social Work) and April Rose S. Caballero (College of Nursing), with Second Runners-Up awarded to Eduardo F. Villanueva II (College of Education/Tourism/Office Administration) and Cyra Zamantha Joi Aro (College of Medical Laboratory Science). Third Runners-Up were LJ Jan Dela Cruz (College of Medical Laboratory Science) and Princess Michalla G. Garrote (College of Education/Tourism/Office Administration), while Jheric B. Cristino and Kian Crizelle P. Caluban, both from the College of Pharmacy, rounded off the court as Fourth Runners-Up. Each winner exemplified the values of leadership, creativity, and inclusivity, making the pageant not only a celebration of beauty and talent but also a reflection of NVCโs dedication to empowering youth leaders in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event proved that style and sustainability can coexist, inspiring fellow students to take part in creative solutions to global challenges.
