Kidapawan City, North Cotabato,  August 29, 2024 โ€” The North Valley College Foundation, Inc. (NVCFI) successfully conducted a comprehensive Health Care Servicing NC II training program attended by 23 participants from various municipalities in North Cotabato. The training, held at the NVCFI main campus, aimed to equip trainees with the essential knowledge and practical competencies required for quality health care service delivery in hospitals, community centers, and home-based care settings.

The program culminated in a graduation ceremony on January 2025, highlighting the achievements of participants who completed both the theoretical and hands-on components of the course under the supervision of certified trainers and assessors. The training emphasized patient care, vital signs monitoring, first aid response, and proper handling of medical equipmentโ€”skills aligned with the TESDA competency standards for Health Care Servicing NC II.

In his message, Dr. Rogelio P. Bayod, NVCFI Research and Quality Assruance Director, commended the participants for their commitment to community health service and expressed the institutionโ€™s continued support for local capacity building through TESDA-accredited programs. He also emphasized that the initiative reflects NVCFIโ€™s mission to provide accessible and skills-based education that promotes employment, ethical service, and community well-being.

The graduates, representing different areas of North Cotabato, expressed gratitude to NVCFI for offering the training locally, allowing them to gain nationally recognized certification without leaving their province. The event concluded with an awarding of certificates and a message of encouragement for the new graduates to serve as compassionate health care providers in their respective communities.

This program forms part of NVCFIโ€™s continuing advocacy to advance Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Region XII, empowering learners to become competent, job-ready, and socially responsible professionals in the field of health care.
