The North Valley College will host the 6th International Conference on Politics and Culture on October 11-12, 2024 Via Zoom.
This series of events started in September 2018 at Nagoya University, Japan as the first international conference on politics and culture. The 2nd was held at Cor Jesu College in Digos City. This yearly event is part of the activity of the Social Ethics Society, a professional organization of philosophy teachers, scholars, and graduate students.
For the 6th international conference, NVC will host in partnership with Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan, and MSU-IIT in Iligan City. Dr. Rogelio P. Bayod, the Quality Assurance Specialist of North Valley College and the Vice President of the Social Ethics Society, will chair the event.
There are five plenary speakers, three from known universities abroad such as Tel Aviv University in Israel, Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan, and Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. The two plenary speakers are from Ateneo de Davao University and the University of Southeastern, Philippines.
There are also 40 papers to be presented coming from top-tier universities and known colleges in the country and abroad.
