NVCian Freshman Hyeth Sison, a first-year BS Psychology student Represents North Valley College at 16th Social Ethics Society Conference

Huge congratulations to Hyeth Sison our first-year psychology student, for confidently presenting her paper entitled “The Agonistic Deficit: Reorienting Moral Education for Philippine Democratic Renewal.” during the 16th Social Ethics Society Annual Conference held in Holy Cross of Davao College, Feb. 18-20, 2026. She was the lone psychology student presenting in a conference attended by philosophy professors, PhDs, ethics educators, and philosophy students, both graduate and undergraduate. NVCFI is incredibly proud of her courage, preparation, and intellectual confidence. For a first-time conference presenter, she showed remarkable composure and depth. This is what dedication, curiosity, and love for learning look like. Keep going Hyeth, this is only the beginning! There will be more conferences here and abroad.
