North Valley College Foundation, Inc. (NVC) officially welcomed ๐๐๐๐ ๐,๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ during its much-awaited ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ถ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฑ๐๐๐ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐, ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ต๐ฝ๐ช ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐ in Kidapawan City. This milestone marked the start of an exciting college journey for new students from various programs. The morning plenary sessions accommodated students from BS Nursing, Tourism Management, Office Administration, and Teacher Education, while the afternoon plenary sessions welcomed those from BS Radiologic Technology, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, Psychology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, and Social Work. Aligned with ๐บ๐ซ๐ฎ ๐: ๐ธ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, the event ensured that every student was given access to vital institutional knowledge, services, and values that would guide their growth throughout their academic stay.
The orientation began with a formal program led by NVC administrators and was highlighted by the invocation, singing of the National Anthem, and the NVC Hymnโ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ต๐ฝ๐ช ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐. A warm welcome message was delivered by Dr. Rogelio P. Bayod, Director of Quality Assurance, who not only encouraged students to embrace challenges and grow in purpose but also discussed the ๐ฝ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐. Informative sessions followed, including the institutional history by Sir Jovann Dave O. Martinez and an organizational overview by Sir Jarel Dave A. Alpanta. These foundational talks fostered a strong sense of identity and belonging, promoting ๐บ๐ซ๐ฎ ๐๐: ๐น๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ through accessible and inclusive communication.
Students also gained valuable insights into their rights, responsibilities, and available support systems. Mark Jaser R. Aquino (Student Affairs), Maโam Cindy Rhose E. Tingal (Academic Affairs), Maโam Jie-Ann Belotindos (Library Services), Maโam Carlie Camandagan (Registrar), Maโam Josephine Malig-on (Finance), and Ma’am Jonah Dejecacion (Guidance). These speakers emphasized transparency, accountability, and academic integrity. Moreover, Maโam Michelle Joy Suelan shared scholarship opportunities while Sir James Bryan Subiate introduced athletic programs. To end the day with energy and inspiration, the NVC General Education Faculty delivered a vibrant performance, symbolizing unity and the passing of wisdom. The orientation not only introduced freshmen to college life but also served as a powerful platform to advance the Sustainable Development Goals, empowering the Class of 2029 to grow as responsible, educated, and socially aware citizens. With hearts full of hope and minds equipped with knowledge, these new NVCians are now ready to lead with excellence.
