KORONADAL CITY โ Two administrators from North Valley College Foundation, Inc. (NVCFI) represented the institution with distinction at the 10th Southeast Asian Radiographers Conference held in August 2024, where experts across the region gathered to discuss advancements in medical imaging and health technologies.
Prof. Jarel Dave Alpanta, NVCFIโs Administrator, delivered an insightful lecture on โArtificial Intelligence in Diagnostics: Transforming Radiologic Practices for the Future.โ His presentation highlighted how AI innovations can enhance diagnostic accuracy, streamline workflow, and promote patient-centered healthcare directly supporting Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-Being through improved access to quality medical services.
Meanwhile, Dr. Rogelio P. Bayod, NVCFIโs Quality Assurance and Research and Publication Director, captivated participants with his session on โThe What, How, and Why of Research for Radiologic Technologies.โ Dr. Bayod emphasized the role of scientific inquiry and evidence-based practice in advancing radiologic education and professional standards, aligning with SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. Their participation not only showcased NVCFIโs academic excellence and commitment to research innovation but also strengthened international collaboration in the medical and academic community. By contributing to global dialogues on healthcare and technology, NVCFI continues to uphold its mission of producing competent, ethical, and socially responsible professionals dedicated to sustainable development.
